AI, our new playground
Pierre Pellegrino has been a front-end developer at Dusens Group for 2 years now. He’s our AI referent within the agency, because he’s passionate about this new technology and all the innovations it brings, and never stops challenging himself to find new, existing solutions. Pierre is interested in the subject for both his professional and personal culture, which enables him to enrich his vision on a daily basis. He’s an innovative and creative profile who shares his vision to tell us where his interest in AI comes from.
My curiosity for AI started with the appearance of web tools such as https://www.remove.bg/fr and was reinforced when ChatGPT arrived. Initially skeptical, I was quickly blown away by its performance, and my curiosity led me to want to explore the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence in various fields.
First and foremost, the generation of images, which Midjourney has put to great use. I personally started with Stable Diffusion and now use daily Dall-E 3. Its great versatility makes it exciting to use and, provided you send it a good-quality prompt, it produces incredible results.
Then came audio generation and modification. I began by using RVC, which lets you replace the voice of an audio track with another passed in parameters, to now create song covers or set to music well-known pop-culture phrases, among others. Finally, my job as a developer allows me to use AI in the service of user experience. Still in the exploration phase, we are bubbling over with ideas to offer ever more interactive and relevant content on the sites we create. For example, I’ve been able to create a collection of experimental tools including a tool for creating images with predefined themes, a spellchecker, a multilingual translator, a tool for summarizing videos or PDF documents, and many others.
In the future, I believe that AI will continue to surprise us and enable us to automate even more tasks, so that we can focus even more on our creativity and push the user experience to the max…
